FAQ
Hot Sauces
Where is my Hot Sauce?
Crispy Kytti's is a very small company just getting started out. Keeping up with stock is going to be a bit shaky at first.
We allow you to still purchase sauces that are out of stock to help us with purchasing ingredients to start stocking up. It will not take very long for us to get into a nice groove.
Each fermented sauce takes us 2-3 weeks to make start to finish. So if your favorite fiery condiment is out of stock, it may take us up to a month to get it delivered to your doorstep.
We will do our best to communicate this through the News page or email correspondence.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we build this sauce empire up!
Should I refrigerate the Sauces?
Our Hot Sauces are low enough on the pH scale that they are shelf stable at room temperature. No need to put them in the fridge. You can if you want to though. The cold never bothered them anyway.
AGHGHGH, TOO HOTTT!!!!
Sorry, not sorry. Capsaicin tolerance is built up through exposure. You may not have yours high enough for the sauce you purchased.
Fear not! You can build that up by using less sauce and mixing it with other foods. Or you can always just power through it.
However, please do not force yourself to suffer! Our sauces are very tasty, but there's no reason to punish yourself unnecessarily. Unless you want to.
Try some of our more mild offerings.
AGHGHGH, NOT HOT ENOUGH!!!!
We do not use capsaicin extract to get to the crazy scoville levels some other sauces achieve.
If heat is all you want, and you are just in it for the challenge, our apologies, but we will not meet your requirements. Flavor first, heat second.
Hold Up...This doesn't taste like (insert other brand of sauce)...
No, no it doesn't.
Other FAQ's
Shipping is a bit pricey, eh?
Yeah, we know...
Once we get a bit more established, we will get that sorted out. Makes buying a single bottle of sauce not as appealing.
What's up with this merch?
We use Printful to make print-on-demand items. Helps us generate more revenue and turns you into our adorable mobile billboards.
What is the companies long term goal?
Expanding our product lines. Getting into retail spaces. Getting on Hot Ones (Call us!). Getting our delicious sauces and products into as many peoples lives as possible. Then getting philanthropic. Helping as many people as we can along the way.
